Write for us
Krock.io is a content review and approval app used by animation
and video production companies and freelancers worldwide. Our blog is about project management, productivity, team engagement and creativity in video production companies, etc.
We'd love to hear from you if you're an experienced and creative
copywriter interested in writing for us. We have some key rules
that you must follow or your submission can’t be accepted.
Here's what we're looking for in an article:
Uniqueness
We publish only original content that has been checked for plagiarism and has not been published anywhere else to push our articles to the top of Google.
Clarity & Completeness
We're looking for well-researched, in-depth articles that are at least 1200 words long. The best pieces for us are usually at least 1500+ words long. The latter is preferred.
Practical tips
Highlight these tips and takeaways so that our readers can try them in their work. To make your piece more complete, use theory, research, and science to back up your arguments. Always include links to authorized sources that back up your words.
Real-life examples
Share your experience or offer examples to help readers grasp the subject better. Basically, your knowledge and unique point of view will bring the most value to your article.
Logical structure
Pay attention to the structure and make sure your flow of thought is clear to follow. Each article should include an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. Always clarify why you're referencing a certain idea or concept and how it helps you disclose the topic of the article.
Easy-to-read formatting
We look for articles that are easy to skim—short paragraphs, clear headings, subheadings, bulleted lists, images, etc. At best, the reader should be able to absorb the main points just by reading the headlines.
Correct grammar
Use Grammarly or Copywritely (it's free!). In addition, you can ask a proofreader to edit your article before submitting it to us.
Please do not submit:
- Topics that have already been covered on Krock.io’s blog
- Anything overly promotional or non-organic
- Articles whose sole purpose is to get a backlink
- General "how to be more productive" sort of articles
Some info about links
They are significant in articles that’s why they should be used. When making a statement, quote research, use statistics in your writing—give readers more context. Always ensure that you link to a credible and trustworthy source. The articles that cover the same or similar topics and links to them can be found on Krock's blog.
You can also add one link to a blog post and other informational content on your page as long as it fits well with the post and is of value to the reader. Advertising, out-of-context links, as well as links to product offers and services are not allowed and will be removed.
We reserve the right to remove and replace links, as well as modify their anchor texts, at any time and without the author's permission.
All links will be nofollow links. You can mention your business and add a (nofollow) link to it in your author bio – nofollow brand mentions, too.
